I was born and raised in Decatur, AL but moved to Murfreesboro for college, fell in love with the area and have called it home since 2000. My beautiful wife Amy and I have three children: Isaac, Georgia, and Harrison. I am a devoted husband, father, Real Estate Agent and Real Estate Investor. When I have free time you can bet I am catching up on the latest Auburn football news, fishing in salt or freshwater, working on my golf game (or lack thereof), or DIYing. (I am not ashamed to say I have a Pinterest page with tons of projects and ideas for home renovations.)
While at Middle Tennessee State University I pursued a B.S. in the Recording Industry. After graduating in 2003 I worked in the music industry in artist management with many amazing artists and people. My passion for people, relationships, and houses led me to Real Estate, and after buying and selling four homes in eight years as a homeowner I decided to make it my career. I have been on both sides of the table when it comes to buying and selling a home. As an agent, I draw on my experience and attention to detail, to make the process as stress free as possible for my clients. I have a passion for guiding those I work with through their specific transaction. My mindset and approach to the process is one of a coach or fishing guide: I want to get you to the right home.
When it comes to real estate investment I love helping clients create passive income through the purchase of rental properties but I am also passionate about helping those who are in the middle of the battle of foreclosure, estate liquidation, or a distressed property get the resolution they need from the sale of the home. For these reasons I created a company called Battle Ground Homes that can help families through all of these scenarios by making a bad situation better in a short time frame. My goal is to be your trusted Real Estate Advisor that guides you home!
Some people are very casual when it comes to signing papers that affect their finances for decades. But for those who recognize that small steps early in the game can affect major outcomes later, it's fortunate that there are professionals who dedicate themselves to learning about the process and local market conditions, and who can turn a nightmare of stress and confusion into a relatively painless experience (let's be honest).
I'm an educated professional with a few years of experience in this market, and I think I've seen almost every trick and turn of the industry already. I've also had intimate experience with properties in most of these neighborhoods, making me an invaluable person to talk to when it comes to relocation to or within this area. I'm confident that I can save you not only tens of thousands of dollars, but a great deal of time and emotional energy as well.
But I'm not simply a piece of hardware you can point at a house. I'm a human who laughs and smiles, and I'll take the time to find out what you really need most from me as a professional real estate agent. If you would like to know anything about my services, or if you'd like to hear about the local market from a human voice, please contact me at your convenience.
